Calculated Success. Five Weeks. Two Credits. Entirely Online.
Calculated Success 2019
Get prepared for your first college math class
Who should take Calculated Success?
Calculated Success is a five-week online program for any student who wants to improve their math skills and get a head start at WSU prior to the fall term. Improve your ALEKS test score, and/or potentially place into a higher math class for the fall semester. Incoming freshmen and transfer students have all benefited from Calculated Success in the past.
If your major calls for the college algebra/pre-calc/calculus sequence (Math 103, 106, & 171) or the business math sequence (Math 201 & 202) this program is for you. A two-credit program gives you a head start on math and on your first year of college.
Research shows that the grade you earn in your first math class
is the strongest predictor of future success in STEM majors.
